Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in seat trim sewing, upholstery, automotive interiors, furniture upholstery, or related manufacturing/production environments. Proven ability to cut and sew complex trim patterns with tight tolerances. Experience assembling complete seats or similar upholstered products from components to finished assemblies. Technical Skills Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment (cutters, skivers, binders, sergers, etc.). Ability to read and interpret patterns, drawings, work instructions, and digital layouts. Familiarity with basic manufacturing software and systems, including: Pattern or nesting software (e.g., Opti Tex or equivalent). HMI interfaces for work orders and production tracking. Basic office/manufacturing systems for quality and reporting. Quality & Craftsmanship Strong attention to detail in stitch quality, seam alignment, and overall appearance. Ability to perform self-inspection and correct defects at the source. Problem Solving & Collaboration Ability to identify and troubleshoot fit, finish, and functional issues. Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges. Effective communication skills in a team-oriented environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift and move seat components and materials within safe limits.
