About The Position

Who we are looking for: The RC Auto Mechanic will be responsible for performing comprehensive mechanical inspections and conducting light mechanical reconstruction and repair work on vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. A valid ASE certification is highly preferred. What you will do: Perform mechanical inspections on incoming vehicles to assess condition and identify any mechanical issues. Carry out light mechanical repairs and reconstruction work (e.g., brake systems, transmissions, electrical, AC, driveability, suspension, minor engine repairs). Document findings from inspections and repairs accurately and in a timely manner. Work collaboratively with reconditioning and detailing teams to ensure vehicles are fully prepped for resale. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times ensuring a safe work environment for all team members. Complies with procedures relating to recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash Perform additional duties as assigned. What you will need: ASE Certification is highly preferred. Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and repair manuals. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles. Physical/Mental Requirements Physical requirements include the ability to walk the lot, inspect vehicles, and be active in an automotive shop environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Capable of standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods. Working Conditions On-site position. Full-time hours with occasional extended hours based on business needs.
