Automotive Technician - NorthCoast Streetsboro Nissan
About The Position
We are seeking a top-notch, experienced Nissan Technician to work in our growing service department on in our Recon Department! We are looking for used car techs (preferably Master Certified) who are looking to grow their career. They must be goal focused, detail oriented and a self starter. The right applicant can expect to earn between $25-$50 fixed rate based on experience. If you have automotive technician experience and a desire to grow your career, we need to talk. We offer the right candidates an opportunity to develop their technician skills, to work in a positive environment with management support, paid training, and the facility currently expanding to add more service bays.
Requirements
- 5 yrs Automotive service technician experience - Required
- Energetic with a positive attitude
- Devotion to your work as a career
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Clean Driving Record
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Automotive service technician: 1 year (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications, a plus
- Automotive technical school graduate, a plus
- Own diagnostic tools, a plus
- Nissan experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles and diagnose the problem(s).
- Provide an excellent customer service experience by performing quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.
- Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing technology
- Build and maintain knowledge of products and services via on-the-job training and completion of manufacturer training
- Ability to work on all automotive makes and models
- Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
