Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and Repair Mechanical Issues: Inspect and test vehicles to identify mechanical problems. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.). Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems, and other components. Electrical and Electronic Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems (battery, lighting, ignition systems, sensors, etc.). Work with computerized systems, onboard diagnostics, and specialized automotive software to perform tests and repairs. Routine Maintenance: Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections, and other routine maintenance tasks. Replace air filters, spark plugs, and other components as part of preventative maintenance. Customer Service: Communicate with customers to understand vehicle issues and provide updates on repairs. Offer advice on proper maintenance and vehicle care. Provide video documentation of work being diagnosed and updates on repair progress, keeping customers informed at every stage of the process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed. Provide estimates for repair costs and timelines. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials (oil, coolant, etc.). Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry standards for vehicle repair and maintenance. Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and comply with legal safety and emissions requirements.
