The Investment: Compensation & Benefits We believe top talent deserves top compensation. Compensation: Highly Competitive Hourly Pay: $24 - $47 per hour (Based on Certifications, Experience, and Production). Equivalent Annual Earning Potential: $55,000 - $100,000+ Production Expectation: Consistent weekly production hours of 42.5 - 50 hours are expected, reflecting a commitment to high output and efficiency. The Expectations and Role Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM).

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-10+ years of professional, hands-on Automotive Technician experience.
  • Certifications (Required): Valid Driver's License and Michigan State Certifications (Minimum 3 core competencies required; 8 certifications strongly preferred ).
  • Tooling: Must possess the ability to understand and effectively use the diagnostic tools and equipment necessary to perform advanced functions at this skill level.

Nice To Haves

  • Commitment to Excellence (Preferred): ASE Certifications are preferred. All new hires are expected to actively pursue and achieve additional ASE certifications .

Responsibilities

  • Advanced Electrical System Diagnosis and Repair
  • Engine Performance & Major Component Replacement (e.g., Timing Belts, Cylinder Heads)
  • Transmission, Driveline, and Clutch Systems
  • Steering, Suspension, and Advanced HVAC Systems
  • General Maintenance and Procedural Look-ups
  • Diagnostic Excellence: You are expected to employ a logical, documented cause-and-effect methodology for all repair recommendations.
  • Effective communication with Service Advisors is essential.
  • Hands-On Work: You will be engaged in significant hands-on work with various automotive systems, utilizing your skills daily.
