About The Position

Toyota of Bowie, part of Group 1 Automotive (a Fortune 250 company and a leader in automotive retail), is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician. This role involves performing high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment. The technician will conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems, maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, and road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs. Adherence to company safety policies and procedures is required, along with providing timely updates to service advisors for customer communication. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
