About The Position

As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic at Big Brand Tire, you will work as part of a team to perform front-end mechanical repairs, including but not limited to alignments, brakes, steering/suspension, fluid exchanges, and the repair and replacement of components such as water pumps, alternators, belts, hoses, and radiators. This position offers a competitive pay structure that includes base pay, commission, overtime, and paid benefits, with an eligible sign-on bonus of $5,000.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional mechanical experience in automotive repair.
• Energetic and ethical work attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and endure continuous crouching, bending, and turning.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained.
• Interest in mastering basic preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Perform front-end mechanical repairs including alignments, brakes, steering/suspension, and fluid exchanges.
• Repair and replace components such as water pumps, alternators, belts, hoses, and radiators.
• Examine and identify necessary repairs and maintenance needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure mechanical issues are addressed and make recommendations.
