About The Position

As an Automotive Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring fleet safety, performance, and reliability through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and field support.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar mechanical role
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and mechanical fundamentals
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) systems and technology
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Comfortable working with advanced autonomous vehicle technology

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as an EV Technician
  • Experience with ADAS or autonomous vehicle systems
  • OEM, dealership, fleet, or mobility company experience

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document vehicle damage following road incidents
  • Perform minor on-site repairs and coordinate major repairs with service partners
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections (brakes, fluids, AC, tires, etc.)
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, including EV and ADAS systems
  • Monitor vehicle condition and proactively identify potential issues
  • Support field operations, including vehicle recovery, towing coordination, and evacuations
  • Transport vehicles for service, repairs, inspections, and cleaning
  • Maintain fleet, shop, and equipment cleanliness and safety compliance
  • Document work completed and follow operational procedures
