About The Position

Based in Metro Detroit, MI, this position offers the flexibility to work remotely part-time.

Requirements

• Proficient in Catia and UG NX.
• At least 5 years of experience in progressive, transfer, and tandem die designs for the automotive industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of automotive OEM die standards.
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve complex design challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop progressive, transfer, and tandem dies for automotive components.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand and refine design requirements.
• Participate in client design review meetings to present and perfect your designs.
• Ensure compliance with automotive OEM die standards and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design challenges with confidence.
• Document design processes and share progress effectively with stakeholders.
