About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Automotive Shop Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety in our car shops. This role is essential to keeping the workspace organized, hazard-free, and running efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred (not required)
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing between 45 and 100 lbs
• Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive shop environment
• Exposure to loud noises, chemicals, and automotive equipment
• Indoor and outdoor work in varying temperatures

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain shop floors, work areas, restrooms, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash and debris regularly
• Clean up oil spills, grease, and other automotive fluids safely
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines
• Restock cleaning supplies and shop materials as needed
• Assist technicians with basic non-technical tasks when required
• Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and storage areas
