Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as an automotive technician (B Level or equivalent)
  • Strong familiarity with GM vehicle systems and diagnostics
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • GM training or certification a major plus
  • EV Experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on passenger vehicles and light trucks
  • Diagnose and repair drivability issues, engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Use GM diagnostic tools (GDS2, Tech2, MDI) and service information systems (SI)
  • Document repairs and communicate effectively with service advisors
  • Ensure customer vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently
  • Maintain on-going training and standards education as required by Ferman and the manufacturer for certifications.
