About The Position

Gold Coast Cadillac (The Northeast #1 Cadillac Dealer) is seeking two highly skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our team in Oakhurst, New Jersey. This is a full-time individual contributor position, serving as a crucial member of our service department. The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. We are seeking individuals with good character that can add to the culture of our environment, as well as maintain a high level of professional competency. Compensation & Benefits: The successful and correct candidate will be offered industry leading and a competitive hourly salary (depending on skill level), paid weekly. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic tests and identify issues with vehicles using advanced tools and equipment
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Repair and replace faulty parts and systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and brakes
Communicate with customers to explain issues and repair options in a clear and professional manner
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and services performed
Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve technical skills through training and development opportunities
