About The Position
Automotive Technician – Level B (Honda OEM) Job Overview A high‑volume Honda dealership in the Greater Boston area is seeking an experienced Level B Technician to join a fast‑paced, highly productive service department. This position is not entry level . We are looking for a technician who can confidently diagnose and repair Honda vehicles, maintain strong flat‑rate productivity, and deliver consistent, high‑quality work. Requirements
- Previous Honda dealership technician experience REQUIRED
- Demonstrated ability to perform at a Level B Technician standard
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to meet flat‑rate productivity expectations
- Familiarity with Honda systems and repair processes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
- ⚠️ Entry‑level, lube, or trainee technicians will not be considered for this position.
Nice To Haves
- Honda factory certifications
- ASE certifications
- State inspection and emissions license
- Currently working toward Level A or Master Technician status
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Honda vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Complete customer‑pay and warranty repairs efficiently and accurately
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine‑related repairs
- Utilize Honda iN, HDS, and OEM diagnostic tools
- Follow Honda repair procedures, service bulletins, and warranty guidelines
- Accurately document all work performed on repair orders
- Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding findings and recommendations
- Maintain productivity while meeting quality and safety standards
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with shop standards
