Automotive Service Technician

Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an automotive service technician preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- B-level skillset including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
- Steady hand and strong hand–eye coordination
- Solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service and basic computer skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Ford and/or Chrysler certification strongly preferred
- Previous manufacturer-dealership experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete repairs and maintenance listed on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards
- Road-test vehicles and evaluate components and systems with diagnostic equipment and specialized tools
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, and climate control
- Work closely with service advisors to communicate additional repair needs and provide accurate time estimates
- Perform warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer guidelines
