The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Requirements

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification desired
Current Class D - Regular Driver's License (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Required with a good driving record
18 years of age or older
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Tidy, Professional Appearance

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with the dealership standards
Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs
Communicates with the Service Advisor to obtain needed parts for the repair
Examine the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
