The Automotive Service Technician will perform vehicle service and repairs according to established standards and procedures. Responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, and ensuring vehicles meet high-quality standards before customer delivery. This role requires delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance
- Customer service oriented with a focus on safety
- Basic computer and internet proficiency
- Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, and lifting heavy objects
- Entry-level candidates with relevant experience or training are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform routine service inspections, tests, and maintenance tasks
- Service and repair vehicles following company and industry standards
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness during service and repair
- Complete required documentation in compliance with regulations
- Assist in maintaining shop appearance, safety, and inventory management
- Follow all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental guidelines
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
