About The Position
O’Daniel Ford is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. We’re looking for a technician with strong diagnostic abilities, proven repair experience, and ASE/Ford certifications. In this role, you'll handle repair orders efficiently, accurately diagnose issues, and help deliver the high-quality service our customers expect. Requirements
- 2+ years of automotive service technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ASE Certification required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and desire to continuously improve
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Ford Certification strongly preferred
- Previous Ford dealership experience is a plus
- B-level diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair capabilities
Responsibilities
- Perform work listed on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic equipment to evaluate systems and components
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, A/C, and more
- Communicate clearly with the Service Advisor regarding additional needed repairs and time estimates
- Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Deliver professional, courteous service to customers and teammates
- Stay current with manufacturer training, bulletins, and new technologies
