About The Position

V & H Automotive, Inc. (located in Marshfield, WI) has excellent opportunities for Automotive Technicians. We have openings for Ford Certified, Chrysler Certified and Diesel Certified technicians. We are looking for a Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Automotive Service Technician Benefits: Competitive Compensation: $17.00-$30.00/hour - Based on Experience Health, Medical and Dental 401K Plan Paid time off and vacation Growth opportunities Family owned and operated Long term job security Great culture Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities: Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner Automotive Service Technician Qualifications 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification Highly recommended Previous experience at a dealership is preferred B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve Able to work in fast-paced environment and critical decision makeing Enjoy working in a dynamic environment Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record About us: We are located in beautiful Central Wisconsin; a short drive from anywhere. Requirements

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Able to work in fast-paced environment and critical decision makeing
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

Nice To Haves
