Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves servicing and repairing vehicles according to established standards, performing pre-delivery inspections, and ensuring the highest customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 4 years of general automotive repair experience
- Strong communication skills with a customer service focus
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
- Basic computer and internet proficiency
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as required
- Safety-conscious and team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service or repair processes
- Ensure all required documentation is accurate and complies with regulations
- Assist in maintaining shop appearance, safety standards, and efficient daily operations
- Follow all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental guidelines
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational courses as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the service department
