Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
  • Willing to submit and pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
  • Test driving vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems
  • Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
  • Providing estimates of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
