Automotive Service Technician
About The Position
East Tennessee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is part of the Victory Automotive Group, a family-owned and operated business since 1997, with over 50 locations nationwide. We are committed to delivering exceptional automotive services and providing a professional, customer-focused environment for both our clients and employees. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will service and repair vehicles in accordance with established standards and procedures. You will also perform pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles to ensure they are in excellent working condition for our customers. Providing high-quality service while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction is essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Professional and dependable work ethic
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Basic computer and internet proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to read and follow written instructions accurately
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is preferred but entry-level candidates will be considered
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service and repairs
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostic tests, and standard maintenance tasks
- Complete all required documentation accurately and comply with all regulations and standards
- Support shop operations by helping with inventory stocking and general maintenance of shop appearance and safety
- Follow all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental guidelines
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development classes as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
