Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous automotive technician experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, organized, and thorough
  • Mechanically and analytically minded
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality

Nice To Haves

  • European brand experience is a plus
  • Vocational or technical school certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Examine vehicles based on customer requests and concerns
  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and inspections
  • Repair or replace worn and damaged components such as brakes, bearings, sensors, ignition parts, and fuel system components
  • Test systems and components to verify operation and assess vehicle condition
  • Use diagnostic equipment and service information to identify mechanical and electrical issues
  • Follow repair procedures and inspection checklists to ensure repairs are completed thoroughly and accurately
  • Determine proper repair strategies through research, diagnostics, and hands-on evaluation
  • Communicate findings and repair needs clearly with the service team
  • Complete repairs with a high level of quality, precision, and efficiency
  • Help ensure an outstanding service experience for every customer
