Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR policy requirements.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test).

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to obtain State Inspector license if not already completed.
  • Experience in automotive service and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates.
  • Diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles with integrity and ethics.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with clients who return with unsatisfactory work.
  • Examine vehicle, diagnose issues, and discuss with Team Leader or ASM.
  • Communicate additional service requests to the ASM for client communication.
  • Plan work procedure in cooperation with the Team Leader.
  • Provide labor time estimates to the ASM.
  • Monitor repair time and update ASM on status for client vehicles.
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
  • Complete documentation for client repairs.
  • Know and understand dealership computer system.
  • Assist Technician Trainees.
  • Wear approved safety glasses in designated safety areas.
  • Adhere to dress code in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standards.
  • Keep work area clean and tidy in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Attend company and factory training.
  • Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
  • Obtain State Inspector license if not already completed.
  • Understand and follow Federal, State and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
  • Utilize the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to the Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policy.
  • Attend weekly department meetings.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs and be on feet for three or more hours at a time.
