About The Position

As an Automotive Service Technician at Park Place Land Rover Grapevine, your primary responsibility will be to ensure an extraordinary client experience while fostering client advocacy. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles for both clients and the dealership, adhering to the highest standards of integrity and ethics. You will be expected to maintain positive relationships with clients, especially those returning with concerns about previous work, in accordance with dealership policies and standards. In this position, you will examine vehicles to diagnose issues and, if necessary, discuss findings with the Team Leader or Assistant Service Manager (ASM) to determine the extent of damage or malfunction. Effective communication is key, as you will relay additional service requests to the ASM for client communication. You will also plan work procedures in collaboration with the Team Leader and provide labor time estimates to the ASM. Monitoring repair times and keeping the ASM updated on the status of client vehicles is essential, especially for those waiting for service. You will be responsible for maintaining strict adherence to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation, completing thorough documentation for client repairs, and familiarizing yourself with the dealership's computer systems. Assisting Technician Trainees and maintaining a clean and organized work area are also part of your duties. Continuous learning is encouraged, and you will be expected to attend company and factory training sessions to stay current with technical bulletins and manufacturer warranty requirements. Additionally, you should be willing to obtain a State Inspector license if you do not already possess one. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings. At Park Place Dealerships, we are committed to providing an extraordinary experience not only for our clients but also for our team members, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
