Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of customer bills is a key responsibility.
- Receipt of cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, with accurate recording of received amounts.
- Provision of change to customers and issuance of receipts.
- Handling of customer complaints with integrity and composure; referral of dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution when necessary.
- Maintenance and filing of repair orders, parts invoices, and rental forms; compilation of lists of missing documents.
- Closure of all open invoices.
- Reconciliation of gas purchase statements.
- Assistance to the service and parts department by providing telephone coverage.
- Provision of clerical and secretarial support to parts and service departments.
- Collaboration with department manager to stay informed about new products and services, including their features, value, and any changes in price.
- Maintenance of a professional appearance at all times.
- Ensuring a neat and clean work area.
- Performance of other duties as assigned.
