Position Overview Don Ayres Honda is seeking a dependable and motivated Service Porter to support our high-volume service department, servicing 150+ vehicles per day. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that is critical to keeping our service drive running efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Basic computer/technology skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and stay active throughout the shift
  • Must pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist with service lane flow
  • Move, stage, and park vehicles in a high-volume environment (150+ vehicles daily)
  • Keep service lanes organized and traffic flowing smoothly
  • Transport vehicles to and from technician bays safely and efficiently
  • Perform basic vehicle tasks: Battery testing and documentation Tire pressure checks and adjustments Install service tags and prep vehicles for service
  • Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service drive and customer area
  • Communicate with Service Advisors on arrivals and vehicle status
  • Assist customers with basic questions and directions
  • Support the team with additional duties as needed
