We aim to deliver a pleasant, informative, and professional experience to every customer. We are seeking a reliable and personable Automotive Service Porter to join our service team. The Service Porter will greet customers arriving at the service department, assist with vehicle movements, and maintain cleanliness in the service and lot areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Professional and dependable work ethic.
- Strong customer service orientation with outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to use basic computer and internet tools.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to read and understand instructions clearly.
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer questions or direct customers to the appropriate personnel or area.
- Install disposable protective coverings such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats on vehicles scheduled for service.
- Move customer vehicles around the lot and service areas safely and efficiently.
- Deliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors after parking vehicles.
- Retrieve vehicles for customers when they are ready for pickup and thank them for their business.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the shop and lot areas.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support service operations.
