About The Position

We are seeking a Service Manager for our client near Allentown, PA. We need an experienced and highly motivated Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of service operations, ensuring efficient workflow, high customer satisfaction, and achievement of profitability goals. This leadership role requires strong management capabilities, deep automotive service knowledge, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive experience is REQUIRED for this position.
  • Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of managing technicians and service advisors, demonstrate an ability to run an efficient and productive service department, and show through their work history an ability to generate sales with high customer satisfaction.
  • We are looking for someone who works hard, communicates clearly and is interested in a real career with long term potential, not just a job.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the US.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage daily service operations including scheduling, repair order flow, and quality control.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient vehicle diagnosis and repair.
  • Monitor departmental expenses, labor utilization, and parts gross profit.
  • Enforce dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with parts and sales departments to support seamless operations.
  • Stay current with automotive technology and industry best practices.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Handle warranty claims and recalls according to manufacturer guidelines.
