About The Position

The Service Manager at Serra Brighton Automotive is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department at either Serra Honda Brighton or Serra Mazda Brighton. This role involves collaborating with the Fixed Operations Director to align performance goals and drive improvements, while also leading a high-performing service team to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven leadership experience in automotive service management.
  • Strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Solid experience working directly with senior leadership.
  • Excellent business acumen, including budgeting and performance analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and scheduling software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, automotive management, or related field OR equivalent experience/certifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the service department.
  • Work directly with the Fixed Operations Director to align goals and monitor performance.
  • Foster collaboration across all dealership departments for seamless communication.
  • Lead, mentor, and train a high-performing service team.
  • Develop and implement efficient service department workflows and schedules.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service revenue and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to propose service specials and enhance customer outreach.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to meet profitability goals.
  • Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and service processes.
  • Promptly resolve escalated customer concerns.
