About The Position

The Service and Parts Director will oversee fixed operations across multiple dealership rooftops and franchises within a well-established automotive group. This role is crucial for managing the service and parts departments, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to high ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fixed operations and a proven track record of success in dealership management.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Dealership Parts and Service Management.
• Experience with major DMS operating systems as well as leading office technology suites.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, goals, and objectives for service and parts departments.
• Lead, hire, train, motivate, and develop staff, monitoring performance and fostering a positive team culture.
• Drive the achievement of sales goals and profit objectives while maintaining high customer service satisfaction scores (CSI).
• Oversee warranty claims, ensuring timely payment and maintaining accurate warranty schedules.
• Ensure the departments comply with safety standards and maintain quality and cleanliness.
• Address customer concerns professionally to promote referral and repeat business.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall dealership operations.
• Manage changes effectively, implementing organizational strategies to improve performance.
