• Familiarity with various automotive repairs, including transmissions, brake repair, and suspension systems
• Ability to upsell services and products effectively

Responsibilities

• Make customer appointments and update the appointment log.
• Greet customers with respect and a friendly smile and obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Inspect the vehicle and write repair orders in full detail of customer concerns.
• Secure agreement from customers before beginning repairs; cover cost estimate and approximate time when the work will be completed.
• Keep updating customers with the status of the repair.
• Work with techs to make sure the vehicle is properly inspected and inform customers of all needed repairs and maintenance.
• Return vehicle to customer and answer any questions, review work performed and explain charges and coverage.
• Handle telephone inquiries and return phone messages promptly.
• Assist the service manager.
