About The Position

Alpha One Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor plays a critical role in creating a positive customer experience by greeting customers, listening to their concerns, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate communication between customers and the service department. This role also includes setting up loaner vehicles, verifying insurance, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and provide clear recommendations
  • Proficiency with dealership management software and willingness to learn new programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Professional appearance and energetic personality
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Ford dealership experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
  • Obtain detailed customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly document all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts
  • Establish and communicate realistic follow-up times
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and provide customers with timely updates
  • Verify that final invoices align with the work performed on repair orders
  • Explain completed work, charges, and recommendations to customers
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure customer concerns are addressed
  • Assist with loaner car setup and verify insurance when needed
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
