About The Position

Midas of Acton is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. Candidate must be familiar with vehicle service and be customer service oriented and sales oriented. Prior experience a plus but willing to train the right candidate. We need a team player, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and participate in training to excel and bring customer service to the next level. This is a great opportunity to join a busy shop, with a progressive and proactive team and management. Benefits include 401k, health insurance, and paid time off two weeks per year. General automotive knowledge
Excellent customer service disposition
Good communication skills
Leadership ability

Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks
Maintain inventory counts
Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
Other duties as assigned
