The role involves assisting customers with purchases in a customer service and sales-focused environment, utilizing computer systems for inventory, scheduling service work, and communicating with the service department. It also includes explaining work orders and invoices, processing customer payments, and performing basic automotive tasks like battery installation, wheel balancing, tire repair/installation, and oil changes when required. The advisor must also interpret vehicle inspection results to make appropriate service recommendations.
