The Automotive Service Advisor at Jim Bone Kia is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction in the automotive service department. This role involves acting as a liaison between customers and technicians, managing service appointments, and handling various administrative tasks related to service operations.

  • Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls including follow up.
  • Perform cashier duties including processing payments.
  • Help facilitate Rental Vehicle contracts.
  • Schedule service appointments and follow up visits.
  • Serve as the liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
  • Prepare repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
  • Provide the client with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance cost, and/or a minimal diagnostic fee with an explanation of associated costs, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure client authorization of repair or service.
  • Must have strong work ethic and be reliable/punctual.
  • Minimum of 2 years Experience in a Customer Service Position.
  • Automotive Knowledge Preferred.
  • Quality Focus, Productivity, and Problem Solving.
  • Strong Teamwork, Communication Skills, and multitasking.
  • Outgoing personality with experience in developing customer relations.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment, is organized, and can manage time efficiently.
