About The Position
As an Automotive Service Advisor at Arapahoe Hyundai, you will play a crucial role as the face of the dealership for service customers. Your primary responsibility will be to present and sell necessary products and services to customers in a professional manner, adhering to the manufacturer's published maintenance schedule and requirements. This position requires you to build rapport with customers to enhance their satisfaction and promote customer retention. You will greet customers promptly and courteously, obtaining essential vehicle information to assist in their service needs. In this fast-paced environment, you will actively promote services and advise customers on the importance of maintaining their vehicles according to manufacturers' specifications. You will generate and provide customers with complete and accurate estimates for repairs, establish and communicate completion times for repairs with both customers and technicians, and manage incoming service calls. Scheduling service appointments and following prescribed procedures for customer follow-up will be essential to ensure return visits and increased sales, while also maintaining a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). You will be expected to strictly adhere to the manufacturer's warranty guidelines and procedures, conducting business honestly to maintain the CSI at or above Asbury's specified goals. Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies regarding the safeguarding of customer and company information, is mandatory. This role requires the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced work environment with limited supervision, along with excellent customer service, phone, and computer skills. Previous experience as an automotive Service Advisor is heavily preferred, and candidates must be at least eighteen years of age with a valid driver's license. Additionally, passing a pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug test, is required.
