We are seeking a proven Automotive Sales Manager to lead a high-volume sales team, drive gross profit, and build a winning culture. This role is for a performance-driven leader who can desk deals, develop talent, and take ownership of results. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with uncapped earning potential. Compensation Annual earnings can exceed $200,000+ for a high-performing manager Commission tied to department gross and volume Performance incentives based on KPIs, CSI, and team productivity Strong income stability with aggressive upside If you know how to drive gross, increase closing ratios, and hold your team accountable — this role will reward you accordingly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in automotive sales leadership (Sales Manager, Desk Manager, or similar role)
  • Proven history of hitting gross, volume, and performance targets
  • Strong desking and deal-structuring experience
  • Experience managing both new and pre-owned inventory
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and digital retail tools
  • Strong leadership presence and accountability mindset
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Automotive Sales Consultants
  • Desk deals and structure transactions to maximize front-end gross
  • Drive new and used vehicle sales performance
  • Monitor and improve closing ratios and appointment-to-show percentages
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and one-on-one performance coaching
  • Work closely with Finance & Insurance (F&I) to maximize backend performance
  • Oversee CRM accountability and internet lead management
  • Maintain high CSI while delivering profitability
  • Review aging inventory and collaborate on inventory turn strategy
  • Enforce compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies
