Our ideal Sales Manager candidate would have years of dealership experience as well as sales management or finance experience.

Requirements

  • Finance or Sales Manager at a dealership experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of used car sales processes, market trends and inventory management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Familiar with dealership management systems and other relevant software
  • Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Quality customer service and communication skills
  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the acquisition and management of vehicle inventory, ensuring they are properly priced, merchandised and displayed
  • Oversee reconditioning process to ensure vehicles are ready for sale in a time and cost-efficient manner.
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas.
  • Ensure all sales practices adhere to legal standards and company policies, including proper documentation and disclosures.
  • Recruit, train, and help manage the sales staff and assist in closing deals.
  • Assist in trade appraisals and valuing of all acquisition opportunities.
  • Manage all steps of the sale process including but not limited to desking deals, monitoring CRM communications, and submitting deals.
  • Source inventory from various different sources to help maintain Used Car Inventory at desired days supply and inventory mix.
  • Promote a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process by addressing concerns and resolving issues should they arise.
