Hillsborough Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an accomplished and driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales operation and elevate dealership performance. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with broad multi-brand expertise, a strong command of both new and pre-owned vehicle sales, and the ability to appraise pre-owned inventory with accuracy and confidence. This role is instrumental in setting strategic direction, developing talent, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Automotive Sales Manager Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Health Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Automotive Sales Manager Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and dealership-wide sales objectives Set clear expectations and drive performance through coaching, accountability, and example Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with dealership goals and market conditions Leverage multi-brand knowledge to guide sales strategy and support confident, accurate pre-owned vehicle appraisals Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer preferences to adapt sales approaches Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement Oversee ongoing training to strengthen product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer engagement Ensure consistent adherence to dealership sales processes, standards, and compliance requirements Perform additional duties as assigned by dealership leadership Automotive Sales Manager Requirements: Proven experience in automotive sales, with demonstrated success in a sales management role preferred Strong understanding of automotive products, valuation, market trends, and effective sales strategies across multiple brands Ability to confidently and efficiently appraise pre-owned vehicles Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment Must successfully pass all pre-employment background screenings We welcome experienced automotive sales leaders who are ready to bring strategic vision, multi-brand expertise, and confident decision-making to our sales operation.
