Requirements

  • 3+ years sales experience – preferably automotive or business-to-business preferred. Also, hiring paid interns.
  • Must be able to learn about products and pass knowledge along to clients quickly
  • Self-starting individual with the motivation to improve skills
  • Working knowledge of voicemail, e-mail, & Microsoft Office
  • Communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to consistently up-sell. Understand and use basic selling techniques: open, probe, presentation, and overcoming objections.
  • Planning skills. Must be a well-organized individual with the ability to plan customer visits in an efficient manner. Written monthly and weekly sales call reports are required.
  • Valid in-state Driver’s License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, including knowledge of motor vehicles and parts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage customer interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a prospect database through: Phone and in-person prospecting Networking
  • Following up with and enhancing customer relationships
  • Preparation of analysis, specifications, and proposals for prospects and customers
  • Knowledge of vehicle product
  • Knowledge of financing options
