Minimum $500 commission on every deal Position Overview Sales Consultants are responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This includes learning and demonstrating vehicle features, building long-term customer relationships, and maximizing sales performance and dealership profitability.
Requirements
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft applications required).
- Strong customer service, marketing, networking, negotiation, and general sales abilities.
- Basic math and finance knowledge.
- Ability to work cooperatively with all departments and team members.
- Ability to learn and retain product and brand knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic.
- Successfully negotiate with customers to close sales.
- Stay current on all dealership product knowledge and competitive models.
- Build and maintain customer relationships before and after the sale.
- Datamine CRM and dealership systems to generate leads and new opportunities.
- Accurately log and maintain customer information.
- Conduct product presentations and customer test drives.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and achieve 100% on customer surveys.
- Set appointments effectively and close deals.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Follow all dealership policies and procedures.
- Maintain reliable attendance and work required schedules, including extended hours for special events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Collaborate with the Service Concierge and act as a liaison between customers and the Service Department.
- Deliver vehicles to customers, including occasional travel.
- Assist customers in transferring items between vehicles (bending, lifting, reaching required).
- Stand, walk, and move throughout the lot for extended periods.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
