Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by going above-and-beyond.
  • Help other team members deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Treat all co-workers, customers, and vendors professionally and with respect.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dealership dress code.
  • Acquire total product knowledge and maintain that knowledge.
  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance to customers in the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to their needs.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Present all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
  • Perform demo drives with prospects and follow dealership procedures.
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up system.
  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
  • Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership standards.
  • Ensure the sales manager meets each customer.
  • Turn closed deals to finance and insurance manager with proper paperwork.
  • Write complete sales orders and process paperwork according to dealership policies.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to arrival.
  • Check condition of vehicles scheduled for delivery.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and explain operating features and paperwork.
  • Introduce customers to service department personnel.
  • Schedule first service appointments.
  • Follow up on post-delivery items and special requests.
  • Report on time to work and follow the provided schedule.
