Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (some college a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service or sales experience (1 year minimum)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen (we do not test for THC)
  • Professional appearance
  • Positive, friendly, empathetic attitude
  • Great Communication skills
  • Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sell and lease new and pre-owned vehicles in accordance with dealership standards for volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.
  • Approach and greet customers, offer assistance, and listen carefully to understand their needs.
  • Present and explain vehicle options, performance features, and benefits.
  • Offer and coordinate test drives while ensuring compliance with dealership procedures.
  • Prepare and process sales documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure every customer receives a professional, transparent, and satisfying purchase experience.
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat/referral business.
  • Stay current on vehicle features, accessories, and trends within the automotive industry.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Lum’s GMC with integrity and enthusiasm.
