About The Position

Premier Chevrolet of Buena Park is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in Buena Park, CA. In this role, you will engage with prospective customers, understand their automotive needs, and provide expert guidance to help them find the perfect vehicle. Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive sales or related customer-facing roles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and understand customer needs.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency for handling sales software and customer databases.
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, identifying their specific vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Present vehicle features and benefits accurately, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of our Chevrolet inventory.
  • Conduct test drives and provide detailed explanations of vehicle performance, options, and financing availability.
  • Negotiate sales terms effectively while maintaining transparency and building trust with customers.
  • Collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure a seamless buying experience.
  • Follow up with customers post-sale to maintain relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Stay informed about current automotive trends, market conditions, and promotional offers.
  • Nurture enriching relationships to build clientele for life.
  • Exhibit consultative selling skills.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority.
  • Know the in’s and the out’s of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.
  • Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
  • Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business.
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
