About The Position

Gainesville Garage of Gainesville, VA is currently hiring for a skilled full-time Automotive Repair Technician / Diesel Mechanic to assess issues, diagnose, and repair vehicles through oil changes, tire work, and other light to medium-duty automotive services. Diesel experience is preferred and experience with light and medium duty, gas and/or diesel vehicles is a plus . This auto technician position works Monday to Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. No weekends! They earn a flat rate pay structure dependent on experience level and qualifications. There is an opportunity to grow based on skills. Requirements

• Auto mechanical repair experience
• Your own tools
• Good driving record
• Live in VA and be able to commute to and from work
• Do you communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally?
• Are you detail-oriented and organized?
• Can you manage your time well and prioritize tasks accordingly?
• Do you have a positive, can-do attitude?
• Are you good at following instructions?

Nice To Haves

• Diesel experience preferred
• Experience with light and medium duty, gas and/or diesel vehicles is a plus
• Virginia Safety Inspector certification is preferred, but not required
