As an Automotive Repair Technician C, we can offer you: The starting base compensation for this position is $20.12 to $31.31 hourly flat rate. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. 20 Hour Billable Week Guarantee The opportunity to earn a productivity bonus on each biweekly paycheck ranging $250 - $550! Our full-time technicians work a total of 5 days each week, with Mondays, Friday & Saturdays typically required. You’ll get Sundays off each week, and another day during the week off dependent on business need.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately repair vehicles using standard automotive procedures at a level normally acquired through the completion of two (2) years as an automotive technician.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certification preferred in at least two categories: Suspension & Steering , and Brakes , or the equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire (Paid for by AAA).
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 75lbs, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the following repairs: basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, basic brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repair, fluid maintenance exchange, and battery check and installation.
  • Maintain knowledge of general automotive skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized work area.
  • Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow safety procedures as outlined in the safety information supplied by each equipment manufacturer and corporate safety policies.
  • Organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency in the performance of all job functions, including vehicle movement.
  • Accurately perform repairs and maintenance on all vehicles as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures or accepted industry practices.
