Requirements

• Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment and provide technical guidance at a level normally acquired through the completion of three (3) years as an automotive technician.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certifications preferred in the areas of Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Heating and Air Conditioning.
• Ability to train and mentor other Repair Technicians and Service Associates.
• Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Valid Driver's License.
• The ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment) if offered the position.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or car dealer certifications in the areas of Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Heating and Air Conditioning.
• Equivalent knowledge and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire (Paid for by AAA).

Responsibilities

• Routinely perform diagnostics and repair work in the following areas: suspension and steering, brakes (including ABS/traction control work), electrical, heating/air conditioning, other jobs as assigned.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.
