Automotive Recon- Used Car Technician
About The Position

Vista Nissan is growing and actively hiring a Main Line / Used Car Reconditioning Technician to support our expanding service operation in Casper, Wyoming. Flat-rate pay starting at $28.00- $30.00 per hour for a certified, experienced, and qualified technician! Position Overview: As a Used Car / Main Line Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our pre-owned inventory meets safety, quality, and performance standards before hitting the lot. This role focuses heavily on used-vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and reconditioning, while also supporting general mainline service needs. You’ll work in a quality-focused environment with a collaborative service team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of automotive main line technician experience
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform repairs on all makes and models
- Complete used vehicle inspections and reconditioning work
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
- Test-drive vehicles and verify system performance
- Maintain shop equipment and tools (lifts, tire machines, A/C machines, battery chargers, etc.)
- Follow dealership processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
