About The Position

Are you an experienced technician looking for long-term stability, consistent pay, and a dealership that invests in its people? Vista Nissan is growing and actively hiring a Main Line / Used Car Reconditioning Technician to support our expanding service operation in Casper, Wyoming. Flat-rate pay starting at $28.00- $30.00 per hour for a certified, experienced, and qualified technician! Position Overview: As a Used Car / Main Line Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our pre-owned inventory meets safety, quality, and performance standards before hitting the lot. This role focuses heavily on used-vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and reconditioning, while also supporting general mainline service needs. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of automotive main line technician experience
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and perform repairs on all makes and models
  • Complete used vehicle inspections and reconditioning work
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
  • Test-drive vehicles and verify system performance
  • Maintain shop equipment and tools (lifts, tire machines, A/C machines, battery chargers, etc.)
  • Follow dealership processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
