About The Position

BBSI is seeking a reliable Prep Technician to assist with the preparation of vehicles. In this hands-on role, you'll handle all prep work-including surface prep, sanding, and masking-so our owner/lead applicator can focus on spraying, machine maintenance, and running the rest of the business.

Must be dependable and punctual
Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

Experience with automotive prep, masking, or sanding is a plus

Responsibilities

Wipe down truck beds using acetone to remove contaminants
Sand surfaces using pneumatic and hand tools
Mask and tape vehicles precisely to prevent overspray
Move trucks in and out of the spray booth (valid driver's license required)
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the prep area
Follow safety protocols and shop procedures
Assist with unloading and organizing supplies
Support the owner/lead applicator as needed during spray jobs
Training will be provided on the prep process and shop standards (over time, you'll be expected to take full ownership of the prep process)
Help on the accessories and undercoating sides of the business as needed, including installations, prep work, or general shop support
